Variance uses the power of AngularJS and SVG to plot out beautiful charts in various ways.
The library uses Angular's simplified and unique way of working with HTML and JavaScript to let developers easily transform their data into beautiful visualizations.
Inspired by the Grammar of Graphics book that has also helped create the R statistical language, Variance is at the middle point between flexibility and ease of use, allowing developers to control the charts they build while using a semi-complex markup to do so.
Variance is neither hard or easy, nor fixed in its ways or too loose to follow.
The library includes special functions to control basic chart elements like axis, labels, data points and legends, but also tools to control how the data is displayed, starting from its geometry and up to the hidden, non-visible elements like the data itself and its various debug utilities.
Everything is documented and Variance includes support for common chart types like bar, line, scatter plot, box plot, dot plot, range, and grouped elements.
Variance is available for free for non-commercial projects, but if you plan to use it for something else, then don't forget to buy the proper license. Besides the JavaScript version, Variance is also available as a WordPress plugin as well.
